Hourly rate for blue-collar workers in Hungary
The average gross hourly salary rate for skilled and unskilled blue-collar workers in Hungary climbed 9,1% to HUF 2130 in the 4th quarter of 2024 from the same period a year earlier.
The hourly pay rate ranged between HUF 2,050 and HUF 2,250 in most regions, but was over HUF 2,900 in central Hungary and the capital and only around HUF 1,850 in the north of the country.
The gross hourly statutory minimum wage for 2025 in Hungary is HUF 2,005 for skilled laborers and HUF 1,672 for unskilled workers.
The analysis was based on the wage data of close to 4,000 workers.
